The Corn Exchange, a unique Grade A-listed building, sits within a six-acre leisure village. The site, once used by traders in cattle and crops, today hosts every type of event from world-class music to conferences, team building events, products launches, exhibitions and trade shows.
Spaces within the site may be used singularly or in combination with each other as they all interconnect and also have their own distinct entrances. With the largest floor space within the city limits the original ‘Exchange’ can host banquets seating up to 1,000 guests and conferences up to 1,500 delegates within a 1,400 sq m space. The historic original buildings have been sensitively combined using contemporary glass roofing to create the ‘Concourse’, a dynamic space used in combination with adjoining areas or as a stand alone area for receptions for up to 900. “The Baron” can host up to 350 guests for a dinner. With smaller function spaces also available within the Bistro and Newmarket areas the ECE is a truly flexible venue.
