Christmas at The West
Wing at Ickworth
Christmas at Ickworth is a truly magical experience. The stylish and
contemporary West Wing offers a host of opportunities for lunch
or dinner with numbers from 40 to 200 guests in the elegant and
spacious Gallery and Court or the award-winning Restaurant.
From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you will
be in awe of the beautiful setting, architecture and attention to
detail. We guarantee the perfect Christmas celebration to suit
your requirements.
This year we are decorating our rooms with Christmas trees and fairy lights.
All our tables will be set with stunning festive arrangements.
Our superb all-inclusive package with dinner and disco is £41.00* per
person. From Sunday to Thursday we are offering a more informal buffet
package at £32.00* per person.
We are also offering lunch in The Restaurant from £16.00* per person
for smaller groups.
Exclusive use of the West Wing is available to large parties, using the Orangery
and areas downstairs for pre-dinner drinks, followed by dinner and dancing
in The Gallery upstairs.
Limitless free parking on site.
*All prices are inclusive of VAT.
Christmas in the Gallery

The Gallery is the largest of our rooms within The West Wing and the
perfect setting to hold a Christmas meal for 200. The Gallery package includes
a welcome drink, an exciting three-course meal with coffee and chocolates, a disco
and bar open to midnight, which can either be run on a cash or account basis.
To get you into the festive spirit the room is set with beautiful decorations
and each table receives crackers and party boxes.
Dates and Prices:
£41.00 per person, inclusive of VAT.
Available from the end of November and throughout December
and January. Minimum numbers apply.

Menu
Cups of roasted tomato and oregano soup served alongside platters of dough balls,
Ickworth pesto, roasted anti pasti style vegetables and olives (v)

Breast of turkey rolled around dry cured bacon with a pork and venison forcemeat,
gently braised in our estate wine then served atop honeyed parsnip and potato puree
with steamed green vegetables and a butter and thyme roasted potato
or
Wild mushroom and goats cheese tartlette, bound in a rich tomato sauce served
with chive and potato puree and steamed green vegetables (v)
or
Fillet of sea bass gently baked in parsley and caper butter served upon creamed potatoes
with a pool of tomato coulis and steamed green vegetables

Traditional Christmas pudding, served warm with maple syrup clotted cream

Ickworth winter trifle, steeped in sweet vermouth, then generously layered
with thick custard sauce and Chantilly cream

For a less formal evening try the delicious three-course buffet menu.
Our package includes
room hire, festive buffet with a welcome drink and a disco until midnight.
Dates and Prices:
£32.00 per person, including VAT.
Minimum numbers apply: 60 guests Sunday to Tuesday.
80 guests on Wednesday and Thursday.
Lunch Parties
Pre-booked lunch is available for smaller parties in the award-winning Restaurant
with a three-course menu and coffee from £16.00 per person.
Larger groups can be accommodated in The Gallery, minimum 60 guests.
A full cash or credit bar will be available for your event.
Bottled mineral water is complimentary throughout the meal. |
